I don't really talk about this, because I'm actually quite private about my personal life, but many many years ago Tony Head took me under his wing and showed me the kind of person I could be. It's not an exaggeration to say that I'm the person I am today because of the kindness he showed me.

It’s worth contacting your local vicar or priest to engage with the MPs. You should also contact any union [u don’t have to be a member] & let them know too

Today marks 38 years since Section 28 came into law in the UK on 24th May 1988, effectively banning anyone who worked in government buildings (like schools and libraries) from offering any support to vulnerable young queer people.

Between January and May of 1979, eleven black women were murdered in the Boston area. Feminists organized in response to the killings, including the Combahee River Collective, which published this pamphlet.
Saeed Jones@theferocity.bsky.social · 3mo agoRecently, I looked at the papers of black feminist Barbara Smith, a contemporary of Audre Lorde and Pauli Murray. These pamphlets are from the 70s/80s. I cannot help but reach the conclusion that gender-based violence and mistreatment (a far reaching term, I know) of black women is on the rise now.

Any playwrights on here? I’m new to it and want to build community in this area in 2026. Any queers on here open to showing me the ropes? Pointing me toward the best resources etc? I’d like to make significant progress over the next 12 months. Maybe even get it up in the latter part of the year.

On the 15th of December this year, Aotearoa New Zealand passed the 2.5 year mark for Self-ID. As we always said, there have been zero issues arising from this. Not a single incident recorded formally or informally, not a whisper of a problem. The anti-trans activists lied to everyone.
