Do you want your zines to have more of a ziney aesthetic?
Since people seem interested, I've coded a version of this that yields better results, is more optimized, and allows you to customize the texture of the noise. It's free, and forever will be free. Enjoy! chaoclypse.itch.io/xerox-hell
Yesterday I was in Lordran. Today I am in the Garlstone Mines from 1995's epic D&D adventure The Night Below.
Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.
The pervasiveness of systems, and how if you aren't using a rule system for your game you're using a different one: social contract and/or language rules most likely.
If you had to give a one hour discussion about any top c related to ttrpgs with no warning what would your topic be and what points would you bring up? #TTRPGQuestion #ttrpg
Just popping out to Lordran for a bit, anyone need anything?

if you love roguelikes with slow incremental progression and a high chance of death, you'll love transgender.
The whole AI mess has been a massive W for Team Lifelong Struggle With Self Loathing and our inherent distrust of anything that shows us kindness, it’s a shame we aren’t worthy of it!

There's Crucible! (Hard to get physical copies, you want to snap those up.) Gravity's just off to the left in the previous photo. And in good company too!
10/18 Crucible and A Perfect Rock and other fine games. Almost to the corner of our 10x30 booth.
Harrison Ford, the actor behind loveable scoundrels Han Solo and Indiana Jones, started his career as an on-set carpenter. That makes him a roguelike deckbuilder.
Not my usual post but this is important and close to my heart. Women's Street Watch Middlesbrough is a volunteer service that helps women get home safely on nights out. They need donations and help to keep the lights on. Support if you can and spread the word. www.facebook.com/reel/1528146...
Get Crucible... and I'm not just saying that because my daughter did all the art.
Are you at Gencon today? You can find physical copies of my games CRUCIBLE and GRAVITY at the IPR stand, which is booth 449, which is... presumably somewhere in the giant capitalism space.

Enough “what would you do on the commune questions” If you got sent back 100 years and were given your grandparent’s job, what are you doing?

Want to design a game that's Balatro but for chess.
Today we began playing a short campaign of @potatocubed.bsky.social's Pigsmoke, and I think I never came out of a session 0 with so many named NPCs. 😂 We truly had a lot of fun, now to grab everything the players came up with and start thinking what the Threat of the Semester they'll face might be.
