OSSOFF: Are you aware that Gabbard was present at the Fulton County raid? CLAYTON: ... O: What is going on here? C: ... ... O: Are you aware that members of this committee are probing Gabbard's potential misconduct? CLAYTON: .... Uh uh .... COTTON: Senator Ossoff your time is expired!
Interesting. McConnell’s “proof of life” photo dropped shortly after this segment. 🤔 Gov. Beshear says Republicans changed the law to stop him from appointing a U.S. senator if a vacancy occurs. He argues the Kentucky Constitution gives him that authority and says he’s ready to fight it in court.
Bullied Meta into unbanning InfoWars on Threads. Thank you all for being annoying as hell.
Overall, very good night for progressives in Colorado. Not only did they hold a longtime institution in Hickenlooper to under 60%, they beat DeGette, flipped two State House districts from establishment Dems, and held the line in multiple districts against sports betting money.
All of these cases are basically litmus tests for any Dem nominee. Are immigrants Americans? Do trans Americans deserve human rights? Are corporations superhumans who get to spend endlessly on elections to put whoever they want into power? These are simple questions with simple answers.
The thing you need to understand is that there are 2 (TWO) different method for amending the constitution 1) The process laid out in the constititon itself (conventions, or 2/3's of both houses followed by 3/4 of states ratifying) OR 2) find five votes on the Supreme Court.
5-4 for what it explicitly says in the constitution is incredible. They were this close to undoing the civil war entirely. bsky.app/profile/mjsd...
The Supreme Court strikes down Trump's attack on birthright citizenship. By a 5–4 vote, it holds that the 14th Amendment guarantees citizenship to children born of unauthorized and temporary immigrants. Roberts and Barrett join the three liberals. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...
Everyone should be extremely concerned that birthright citizenship was 5-4 and not unanimous.
A beautiful demonstration of Trump's deliberative process.
I think the reason the Reflecting Pool is getting so much reaction is because it's a tangible metaphor for all the failures of this regime. It's a physical manifestation of toxicity, vanity, cost, error, and assigning blame.
Egypt and Iran have requested that Pride events in Seattle during their World Cup match be canceled and… no. Welcome to Seattle. This might be the most patriotic I’ve felt in my life. Pride isn’t happening during your game; you’re here during Pride. Suck a rainbow. apnews.com/article/worl...

3 minutes ago these guys were telling us Iran’s missiles were an existential threat to America and cheerleading an insane, illegal, and destined-to-fail war to get rid of all their missiles.
KAITLAN COLLINS: Are you okay with Iran having missiles? SEN. ROGER MARSHALL: I prefer that they not, but they have to defend themselves COLLINS: You think Iran needs to be able to defend itself? MARSHALL: I do, otherwise we turn this into a forever war
Between the reflecting pool swamp and Iran treaty singing in Versailles, the people who understand irony are feasting right now
So, to recap the Iran war - US blew up a building full of schoolgirls - 13 service members & many more Iranian civilians died - global economic pain - ending with a functional total surrender & most of the world worse off All for a vanity war Trump promised he’d never start
wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute he signed that abominable surrender at VERSAILLES?
When we win, the first bill I’m filing is a comprehensive anti-corruption package: Overturn Citizens United Ban corporate PACs and super PACs Ban members of Congress from trading stocks Once we defeat the most corrupt politician in America, we can defeat this entire corrupt system.
Mamdani: "Solidarity with a government that is committing genocide is a very different thing than a question of solidarity with people of a specific faith. I'm proud to be a mayor of the city with the largest Jewish population in this country."

Elias: The fact that the New York Times thinks there’s a middle ground here… Here’s my message: I don’t compromise with Republicans because there is no middle ground between a firefighter and an arsonist, and they are trying to burn down democracy.
Buttigieg: We sit in a in a country that's got the wrong number of people on the Supreme Court, possibly the wrong number of representatives in the House of Representatives. And by the way, when you consider the disenfranchisement of the people of DC, we have the wrong number of states in the US
Talarico: Here's what real men don't do. They don't lie and cheat their way through life. They don't sell their soul to the highest bidder. Real men serve others, weak men serve themselves. So I welcome this debate. I don't think Paxton or Cruz are in a position to tell anyone what a real man is.
