After a rules review it turns out that if the prediction is as much of a layup as this one was, it doesn't count as Apollo throwing the dodgeball of prophecy. But that also makes it *worse*, not better, that so many people still stood by him.

Having a cooking related post pickup steam on here just makes me all too aware of that: 1. There's a chunk of BlueSky that ain't never walked around the grocery outlet with their granny, begging her for one of those plastic barrels with blue drink in it 2. A lot of folks can't cook.
This is in response to someone finding out that you can buy chicken wings and cook them for cheaper than you can get them from a restaurant. The Treatlers really think cooking takes as much effort as building a house I guess.
My best friend gave his life for this country. He's buried less than a mile from that podium, and two of his children, whom he loved fiercely, are trans. This is just a giant middle finger to a man who was 1,000x the soldier the secretary could ever hope to be.

Just because anyone with a very basic economics education should recognise the lump of labour fallacy doesn't mean he should. But the arrogance combined with the absolutely deliberate refusal to think is quite remarkable.
I know other people have already said it, but The Last Jedi. And let's be honest - the biggest reasons it was unfairly hated was because of misogyny, racism, and entitled fans who were afraid of Star Wars trying something different.

It’s worth noting that when Jan. 6 happened, the pro-Trump right used dozens of conspiracy theories to try and offload blame from themselves—e.g., claiming it was “antifa,” “feds.” Now, they seem keen to just admit they did it—all of it—and it was good.
