The insurgent left spends the entire primary season calling Democrats the hopelessly corrupt establishment, claims every source of party revenue is tainted by evil, insists any pol who accepts that revenue is compromised, then pivots to demanding that same party revenue if their leftist faves win.

Yeah. It's a power thing. Those sorts of leftists want exactly the same kind of domination that Trump demands. It's not about policy; it's not about making people's lives better. It's about people being forced to respect (but really pay tribute to) them.

I don’t think there’s enough vote for Stevens left but this will be a close result. My hope is that the El-Sayed/DSA/far left contingent don’t get despondent but realize that both factions need each other. It’s time to cut the shit and fight MAGA, not Democrats.
