Wasting your one human life on the internet, queen?

'separating the art from the artist' nowadays is just anti intellectualism. it's like saying you're not allowed to be criticised because in 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 head you've arbitrarily decided your engagement with a work is divorced from what that engagement produces in the world.

A generation of trans women were recorded as "gay men dying of AIDs" during the epidemic and only later was it realized how badly we were affected. Yet it is only cis gay men's history we are meant to honor and recognize. Because of this erasure my generation of trans women grew up in ignorance. 2/4

i think i've slowly become something else over the course of transitioning, just ideologically. What I did was I fell in love with the weakness of the flesh. There are no firm boundaries between ourselves and the world around us; we are a weak, brittle place in a more solid universe

Weirdly, I think I have found myself much less transhumanist after transitioning than I was before. Transhumanism is weirdly dissociative in a way I think can be unhealthy. The body is not a thing to be shunned, or a vehicle to be piloted, it is as intrinsic a part of the self as the mind is

has anyone unpacked christopher nolan casting a trans person to be the distraction sacrifice for a trojan horse to enter, and then destroy, civilization

RIGHT: we're poisoning society to death so it can be replaced with one that exists only to enable our violent fantasies LEFT: we must strengthen society by expanding social services and expelling those who seek to kill it CENTER: so... the right gets what? nothing?? come on. let em kill it a little
