Teachers cited in this article say they're using "A.i." to develop lesson plans for kids with disabilities and imply that they're feeding student data into LLMs. This is using untested, dangerous teach on vulnerable kids AND possibly violating privacy law.

I think a lot of the vitriol against people insisting things have gotten better over the past 100 years or so is not people being mad at the bare assertion but being mad at the assumed conclusion that things are fine and we don't need drastic fixes. Which some of those people don't mean but some do
