Hey! I’m currently raising funds for Second Date, my independent micro-budget dark comedy/horror film through the Australian Cultural Fund. It’s the story of a woman who is tricked into a first date with her incel stalker, only to find herself trapped in a supernatural Groundhog Day-esque time loop.
Imagine if a woman president crashed the economy and started a war with no end in sight, and her biggest, seemingly ONLY concern was building a ballroom and redecorating the White House.
By the way, if you're curious how the horror community feels watching these movies clean up at the box office: we're fucking elated. In horror, rising tides raises all boats. We're all rooting for each other. After the lean box office of last fall, this spring has been refreshing and exciting.

But seeing how it’s evolved and the recent Grok deepfake scandal, there’s no good argument to stay. I stopped posting there. You should too.
We should reconsider the term „energy crisis“ when speaking about the effects of the Iran war. This is very specifically a crisis of fossil fuels and their single point of failure. Fossil fuels are no longer synonymous with „energy“. We have other, better options.
