My job on the leftist commune is going to be as the fanservice character. Everyone's going to be reading Kropotkin or whatever and I'll be busy falling down the stairs and going KYAAAAH, ending in a tasteless panty shot. Busy attracting gusts of wind. The one guy on farming duty gets a nosebleed

"Pronouns used to be a funny joke, Hank. Until the government tried to tell me I couldn't use them anymore. So now I'm adamant about making sure trans people are gendered right. Not for their sake. But because I'll be damned if the US government is going to tell me what words I can and can't use."

Woo!!! Swords and Sorcery Magazine just published the omnibus review I wrote for the four @newedgeswordmag.bsky.social novellas (and one novelette!) that @obrackenbury.bsky.social is releasing this year. Head on over, and have a look! (spoiler: I loved them all)

Sunsets are so pretty, but whatever you do, DON’T look directly at the sun!! Be safe: look at paintings of the sun instead. I am posting these for your personal eye health. You’re welcome!

That's what taxes are, man. That's the definition of taxes. "You are subsidizing things you might never use" man shut the fuck up. My taxes currently subsidize like oil company exec private jets, you think I'm upset at low-income people eating inexpensive bananas?

Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.
