Just realized I never shared this here TMNT art in the style of old Bengus art (circa MvC1.) Made the Turtles, and was initially just going to add April O'Neil, ended up adding Splinter, Bebop and Rocksteady as well. I made these during a number of livestreams. Could be fun to add more.

Square layout of the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles, along with April O'Neal, Bebop, Rocksteady and Master splinter in the style of old Marvel Vs Capcom 1 portraits. The colors are very intense.

Assets that I made for the 2024 Roguelike Celebration Steam sale page. 🧑‍🎨 The tallish tile size here I'm very fond of. I choose it because it reminds me of the tall grid often in ASCII roguelikes, but it also had some benefits when it came to actually draw the tiles & sprites.

Best Detectives 🔎🧜‍♀️ I don't often play adventure games like these anymore due to limited gaming time and an endless backlog of 50 hour RPGs, but I'll always make time for these two!

Generative AI is not only fundamentally based on the rejection of consent, but also *standards*. Artists have been micromanaged and hounded over individual pixels, academics fighting to defend every minute detail of their thesis, etc, and then are tossed away in favor of the get shit wrong machine.

there isn't a problem with the game's industry. there's a problem with every industry and every publicly traded company. getting a "nice CEO who cares" or whatever won't fix anything until things are addressed at a more fundamental societal level. the system will always drive towards this behavior.

We (Pugstorm) are looking to hire a Senior Pixel Artist! 🎨 - Highly skilled pixelartist, strong communication skills - Ability to work closely with our Art Directors - Experience in animation & Unity is a MAJOR plus! - Time zone near Sweden, fully remote 👉 join@pugstorm.dev
