Hundreds in film. The odyssey has always been a story changed by the teller, adding their own view. If you want an accurate telling, go read the story.

People tend to want to dismiss this tend to forget that Iwata came up as president by starting as a game developer/programmer and working his way up rather than graduating with an MBA and going straight to an executive office.

the problem with the games industry is that it makes money in a sustainable way by creating stuff that people want to pay for this is in contrast to how big capital would prefer to make money, by trying to scale fake numbers to infinity using gambler brained investors lured in by impossible claims
I continue to hold out hope for a humanities renaissance - I think that AI and also Covid have produced a generation of graduates and workers with a learned inability to think critically. People with qualifications in like, philosophy and anthropology are really the only antidote to that

Seems like my entire feed woke up hyped for GTA 6 today. Dunno, after years of hearing about Rockstars shitty work conditions and union busting, not to mention the eclipse-like effect of its impending release on the industry, it's hard to have much interest in this pinnacle to AAA gaming's failures.
