We’ve set up a video game hot take show inside of Big Walk. Welcome to Big Talk Our first episode is up on the Restart.Run socials IG/TikTok/YT Shorts We would love to bring more people on the show

Surely the solution here is just *don't use AI tools* for your writing and research and continue to do your writing and research in ALL the ways you were doing it before you started using AI instead of doing the work??

“If you want an accurate version of the Odyssey, go read the story,” is less actionable advice than it is a trap. “Go on loser, read the story, pick the most accurate translation you can find. Which one is that? Welcome to the fucking abyss fucker, the answer is yes, but also no. Fuck you”

The ppl saying The Odyssey isnt good because it isn’t accurate really just miss the point. We’ve had thousands of versions of the Odyssey. Hundreds in film. The odyssey has always been a story changed by the teller, adding their own view. If you want an accurate telling, go read the story.

I just saw a meme that said “get in losers, we’re reclaiming the emdash”. People. PEOPLE. Where are your STANDARDS? It CLEARLY should be “get in, losers — we’re reclaiming the em dash.”

“Just before the launch of ChatGPT in 2022, there were more than 100,000 monthly questions asked on [Stack Overflow]; last month, there were fewer than 1,500. And the response rate, once around 80 per cent, has been cut in half.” Genuinely shocking. This is what LLMs were trained on, now it’s dead.

the problem with the games industry is that it makes money in a sustainable way by creating stuff that people want to pay for this is in contrast to how big capital would prefer to make money, by trying to scale fake numbers to infinity using gambler brained investors lured in by impossible claims

Seems like my entire feed woke up hyped for GTA 6 today. Dunno, after years of hearing about Rockstars shitty work conditions and union busting, not to mention the eclipse-like effect of its impending release on the industry, it's hard to have much interest in this pinnacle to AAA gaming's failures.
