One fun thing about packing a water flosser for a vacation is the power button will get pushed accidentally and someone will think it is a different battery powered device people use on a different body part.
I don't know why, but something about people asking questions with easy to find answers and ending the inquiry with "TIA" for thanks in advance agitates me in slightly irrational ways. So, please, don't do that. TIA.

Hard to tell exactly what they are talking about, but Subianto asks Trump about meeting Eric Trump and Don Jr, who supposedly have nothing to do with government while they run the family business.
A word we need to bat around, as we plan an eventual national journey out of all this, is 'disgorgement.' Not saying I have any answers or useful thinking here. Just putting down that we need to get comfortable talking about it.

Mobutu and Marcos looted a greater share of their countries’ wealth over decades but in absolute terms and in speed, Trump shamelessly puts them to shame.
Sometimes it's helpful to remember that this extremely stupid president is living his final years in complete misery and total fear. There has not been a moment in the last decade where he has seemed even remotely happy to me. He made his bed.
People have become jaded to it, but a President who threatens to outlaw media in a free society should be immediately removed from office. Trump's words are completely antithetical to the core American commitments of free speech and free press.

I say this as someone who spent 15 years working for companies with FCC regulated TV licenses. I look forward to a return to life where “who is the chair of the FCC?” is a bar trivia question everyone outside of DC gets wrong. Should be the most boring unremarkable silent appointed bureaucrat.
