Finally got out of Brand New Day and spoilers, but yeah, Jean Grey was already evil at the start. Like, mind controlling random strangers at the park for her own amusement. The bad guys were way worse, but it feels very weird that she just got to walk away just because she was sad.

Self-parenting hurts my heart sometimes. Talking to myself like I would a child sometimes backfires, and since I don’t know what a good parent is or whatever, and then I start becoming mean to myself for even thinking I could self-parent - the same way my parents would blame us for existing at all.
