This isn't me being a "doomer." This is me saying that the master that pays for all the tools will not let the tools be used to dismantle its house.
I also think that people telling you that the courts are a good place to stand up against the combined weight of all capital, and that this will definitively work, are really deluding themselves about the nature of the law. It just is not going to do that.
I don't think we're going to beat AI in the courts. I think we're going to beat AI by dint of it collapsing under its own bubbled weight and I would personally like to extract as much from them as possible before that happens.

Flu cases never need to surge. This is a choice. They could be grumbling at low levels or even moderate levels. Surges cause preventable deaths in ED due to waiting times blowing out and staff shortages. Stop flu surges. 😷

I plan to write more about India when I get some time. India uses expensive imported LNG for fertilizer production. Green H2 can replace this. They already heavily subsidize the fertilizer industry and LNG imports. India uses very little LNG for power generation. Far too expensive.

The Prime Minister has a full, standalone minister dedicated to AI but not one for labour. That minister for AI was also fired from the CBC for sketchy art deals that benefitted his friends including *drum roll* Mark Carney. Anyway, just something to think about on Labour Day! NBD!
We can have the things that will make life easier. But we won’t get them by voting for the establishment politics that brought us to this point of crisis in the first place. The 1% have held a grip on our politics for too long. The BC Greens will not be distracted by this drama.
In short , a waste of our money. Money that could be spent far more wisely on green energy solutions rather than on stinky old oil!
