one thing I miss from the pre-genAI days is that there was no questioning that human nonsense was simply human nonsense. a dog piloting a plane? some silly human toiled over that in photoshop. now, when something is nonsensical, we question if it’s ai and don’t get to enjoy it the same way.

He animated the sequence by himself for more than four months -- without computers or even an easy way to check his work. Just realized I never shared this here TMNT art in the style of old Bengus art (circa MvC1.) Made the Turtles, and was initially just going to add April O'Neil, ended up adding Splinter, Bebop and Rocksteady as well. I made these during a number of livestreams. Could be fun to add more.
Now that I’ve seen the new Spider-Man, I haven’t stopped thinking about the fact that The Hand were a direct inspiration to The Foot in TMNT, that in itself being a parody of superhero comics like Daredevil, where The Hand were first introduced
One time my mom was at Goodwill and she saw a guy go up to this poster, buy it, then rip it into pieces and give it back to the cashier. So my mom took it from the cashier, taped it back together, and kept it because she thought it was funny. It's been on the wall for 16 years. Art is context.
Hey yall, ai scam emails are getting clever. there are scams now where they pretend to be a publisher interested in you/your book, and because ai can read your book and draft an email, it feels legit. But it’s just a grift. Stay vigilant! I got one about my old Japan book and my red flag went up.
I left a long winded and all over the place voice mail, and I’d encourage anyone else to do the same Encouraging children to use AI for writing and poetry is so out of step with the PBS I know. It’s also a terrible appropriation of RR, which taught kids creative problem solving and teamwork
