I never called what I did “coding” and tbh I found being called a “coder” demeaning if not insulting I fixed shit and solved problems and sometimes it involved code. Sometimes it didn’t. The biggest money-save I ever made happen at a job was from reading AWS documentation, not “coding”

People still complain about “lockdowns” but we had none in the US. We had stay-at-home orders, where although businesses were closed, you could still go outside whenever you wanted. Other countries had far stricter rules, and yet have been much more accepting of them as they saved many more lives.

I'm not being facetious, this is a sincere take, but after spending many many hours over the years mulling solutions to distracted drivers, I've firmly landed on not removing the distracted part but rather the driver part. We need solutions to reduce phone use driving, but also driving.
