People arguing digital buttons are flat improvements for accessibility are really under-valuing haptic feedback imo. Don’t get me wrong, modular inputs are great and we need more of them. But the haptic layer of design is a huge vector for accessibility that digital inputs complicate.

I've got it on good authority that after eliminating physical discs and buttons for the PS6, the PS7 will just be you buying a license to imagine playing the game

Wow the karaoke scene in Perfect Tides: Station to Station is inspired. Definitely one of my favorite moments in a game all year. If you’re a creative type and you’re into narrative games, this game was made for you. Please, please play it!

As a long-time fan of Dark Souls fandom, I’m delighted to report that possibly the most influential content creator in that space is posting again. EpicNameBro on YouTube just uploaded a Demon’s Souls Remake let’s play, and if you’re a Souls fan or game scholar into the series this is a must-watch.

Obsession is basically everything I want in a horror movie. It was perfectly scary. The pacing was fine-tuned to keep me from ever getting too overwhelmed. It would calm me down in one moment and bring in a bit of levity, just to make the next moment even more upsetting. Super good!

Congrats to the winner of the Digital Moment Award 🌴🦩:  Hanwen Xu & Hatim Benhsain with coalescent || tidal rapture 🏆 This game goes beyond normative depictions of intimacy and doesn't shy away from being meaningfully sensuous, mysterious, complex, and primal.  #amaze 2026

Super happy to be in Berlin for @amazefest.bsky.social 🦩 It’s super gratifying to finally be back with my dev team in-person after so much time apart. Really looking forward to the next few days of games and brilliant interactive art :) here are some pics of the morning pre-show setup! 👾🎮🕹️

My last post about Slay the Spire 2 was wrong. Or I’m a hypocrite, whichever. I finally ascended with the Doom build I’ve always wanted and I now HAVE to stop playing this so I can write my dissertation. Really looking forward to returning for 1.0 one day!

Yep. In fact, the real failing of students was when we stopped requiring them to regularly search a library catalogue for their reading and instead produced lists with hyperlinks that students simply had to click. As soon as they have to go off list, they’re lost.

Controversial but - students *perceive* they have been failed when what has happened is they have failed to understand information retrieval is a skill requiring effort. I don't believe a zero friction experience is realistic or desirable in learning, actually.

Not to complain about having more of a good thing, but I can’t help but be a little disappointed with Slay the Spire 2. I like the new characters and the new cards, but I don’t feel like it’s different enough from the first game for me to put as many hours into it as I did the first.
