...did Brian Owendoff just say "the Moda Center has over $600M in deferred maintenance" a week after the Blazers' Dewayne Hankins said the Moda Center has NO deferred maintenance..? hmm... 🤔

“Crack down on squatters” is some nasty language but I only expect nasty from the city councilor who bad mouthed me in a text conversation with a very prolific local racist

happy national hotdog day. on this day, in the year of our lord 2026, in a moment of divine grace, my campaign was awarded a permit to serve hot dogs on the sidewalk in front of my campaign kick off event for a few hours. which you should totally rsvp for if you want to be part of history.

I’m an energy economist, a democratic socialist, a proud unionist, and an anti-war Army veteran. In 2024, I won my seat with a people-powered, DSA-endorsed campaign that centered working families. S...

Portland DSA’s members have voted overwhelmingly to endorse Nathan Ong Norris for the Multnomah County Board of Commissioners, District 2! Nathan is Portland DSA’s first ever County Commission candidate endorsement!

“PORTLAND DSA ENDORSES
NATHAN ONG NORRIS
for Multnomah County Commissioner in District 2”

People hate aesthetics more than they care about outcomes. No further analysis is needed beyond thing bad Don’t let lefty NIMBYs into office. They goofy and straight up bad at governance Stopping the good thing now to gamble on the very unlikely imagined good thing in the future

Not to rub salt on the wound but this is a tiktok post from one of the Metra board members that Brandon Johnson just re-nominated. Just pure left-NIMBYism So I am not expecting much upzoning or TOD effort from Metra anytime soon (unless it’s 100% affordable and therefore unsustainable)

TikTok text:

“This is not what housing justice looks like. Thisis what racist gentrification looks like and we need to downzone more land to guarantee affordable housing in future
development.”

I try not to stick my nose in regional candidates that get national attention. Platner love has always been lib Platner had no movement behind him. He was never of the people. From the start he was a marketable project and his national coverage was proof of that. Zohran had DSA, Platner had nothing

I haven’t formally endorsed anyone yet but I have my eye on folks that seem cool, and Brandon is one of them! Many orgs won’t even talk to you till you’ve reached 250 donors so if you live in Portland and have $5, throw it to a good candidate. Democracy means giving more ppl a chance for ur vote

If our campaign gets 15 new $5 Portland donations today, I will post a picture of me wearing a suit... and my Scoot Zero Cheetos... shooting a basketball. Tell your Portland friends: we are VERY close to the 250 Portland donors we need for a 10x match! secure.actblue.com/donate/mulle...

Hey - I just wanted to say that last year I asked Councilor Kanal to look into an abandoned massive housing project in my neighborhood, and not only did he look into it, the city funded the gap with some of that extra housing money - so now a new developer will actually finish the project this year.
