Pro-Palestinian protesters gather outside City Hall to call out Mayor Zohran Mamdani for what they see as his betrayal of the movement. "Mayor Mamdani, you can't hide we charge you with genocide" was a chant that just rang out.

As a non-binary person and with the big respect I have for my trans friends, I decided years ago to not draw HP characters anymore. I know it's tempting for artists to participate in trends but it's also important to be aware of the impact your art can have on people. Trans rights are human rights.

Something tells me that Christina Ricci is a hell of a parent. I love seeing parents who teach their children right from wrong, and to stand up for what's right.

the only threats "AI" poses to society are when people put it in charge of things that require thought, or crash the economy over it, or destroy the environment to power it. but it's people doing all of those things. AI poses zero threat by itself as it cannot do anything due to not existing

The fact that this whole “AI is going to kill us” thing is about AI companies forcing a public panic to get the government to let them circumnavigate antitrust laws and get more funding makes me so mad.
