A couple of weeks ago I rode to Newburyport MA and saw this COVID memorial and realized this is the only one I have ever seen anywhere. And the fact that I nearly broke down seeing it is something I still think about.
The most terrifying enshittification I've discovered has been learning that Microsoft Word documents no longer auto-save if you are not saving them to one of their own proprietary cloud services. I'm slapping control-S like it's 1999.
This wouldn’t be happening if the richest man in the world hadn’t ratfucked the FDA and giant corporations hadn’t taken over our food chain by treating workers like shit.

I think "AI" plumpers should be happy I'm focusing mostly on the nonsense it's doing to my field, rather than how it's very clearly designed as a tool for the capture of wealth and capital by a bunch of accelerationist weirdos enthusiastically huffing their own farts from the depth of their K-holes

Talent’s a real thing, or rather a few things—not all even relevant! Like, not everyone can win the Boston marathon, but who cares? Ordinary talent is mostly just a drive to practice
The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us

They also hold the proceeds of iOS app sales for 75 days, making it impossible for creators to accurately predict earnings. They basically inserted themselves in order to rip *more* people off
