I don't care how many times they show me that commercial; I will never buy that Timothee Chalamet has played a game of pickup basketball in his life.
Here is all I will say about The Odyssey: 1) I genuinely enjoyed it, despite its flaws; and 2) it was very cool to sit in a jam-packed theater on a random Tuesday and remember that humans have gathered in groups to hear this exact story about this exact dumbass for thousands of years.

I don't know how to explain to the people who pop up when creatives complain about "AI" to say there are legit uses for it just how much they sound like someone saying "Well actually fire is used to make bread" when people are talking about an organized arson ring burning down their fucking houses
Sometimes my job feels like a series of case studies in all the ways to take interview notes that are completely unhelpful to anyone but the person who took the notes. And sometimes not even them.

Look, Chris Nolan doesn't need me to defend him, but I think he gets shit on unduly in certain online circles because of the bro-dudes who like his (largely excellent) movies. He's also praising low-budget filmmaking and the attention spans of younger audiences here.
