He isn't going to 'see sense', George, because to to do would be to undermine Mahmood, Cooper, and most of his Cabinet. It just isn't going to happen. So, there's no use 'hoping' for it.

I really, really wish that people would stop comparing LLMs to, idk, the internet or the printing press or whatever. Those technologies had network effects (where the underlying technology of the printing press was really widespread literacy). LLMs are like 3D printers—neat at the margins.

Most of have a supercomputer in our pockets with the entire universe on it, in which we are the main character. It’s useful in many ways of course, but I’m not sure it’s psychologically good for us.

My SIX takeaways from Tommy's "Fashtonbury" event yesterday... 1) Numbers way down on last year when they claimed "3 million!" (lol) marched (was nearer 110k in reality but these people live in Conspiracy Theory & Disinfo so whatever) This year met police estimate ~60-70k.

The Republican Party, like the Conservative Party, exists to make sure the rich stay in power & can make money. That’s why the Republicans are not standing up to or removing Trump. He’s doing exactly what the Party exists to do. They’d rather he didn’t expose the truth of the Party. But that’s all.

love how we killed the old, frail anti-nuke ayatollah just to have him replaced with his young, healthy son who wants nukes and who just had his father, mother, wife, and child murdered on the same day by his mortal enemy. surely this will bring peace to the region
