This is what happens when you try to do something without learning how to do it first. All those apps, all those web sites, all those patches, all those Linux commits, all of them ticking time bombs because dipshits thought "vibe coding" made them real programmers.

If You AI-Generate Code, Hackers Just Found a Devious Method to Install Malware Directly on Your Computer

AI hallucinations are a remarkably easy vector for cyber criminals, who can anticipate hallucinations with hidden malware.

TikTok has incredible moderation team. Our InfoWars video about Multiple Horse Theory — the idea that there are many horses in the world and not just one — has been fully deemed misinformation and lost the formal appeals process. Confirmed by Larry Ellison: There is only one horse on Earth.

Approximately 1 out of 3 women will experience sexual and/or physical abuse in their lifetime and you still have men claiming that allegations must be false because there are too many of them. It’s actually the opposite. The vast majority allegations will never become public

A thoughtful review of Killing Time, our existential game of Father Time and the foolish hero destined to kill him. Big thanks to @sprintingowl.bsky.social for reviewing this game. It’s our most deeply introspective work of art, and am very proud of @percypropa.bsky.social and the work we did.

I went into @mossdaggar.bsky.social 's and @percypropa.bsky.social 's Killing Time expecting a mechanically light, thematically heavy duet game about slaying an existential concept and. Oh. Oh man. There's a LOT more than that in here. brewisttabletopgames.itch.io/killing-time

The inability to parse the difference between assistive tech for disabilities and not using stolen slop to generate ugly memes every time one has the impulse to type words into a keyboard is what's getting us here. ... what was that about AI decreasing our ability to think critically again?

Nobody wants predictive data models to stop working for the people in medicine. Or translating ancient Pompeii texts. Or the other ways we were already using it. We want it to stop replacing workers, killing the environment, and stealing from artists. Hope that clarifies.

AI cures cancer.

Bluesky: actualky the AI didn't really cure cancer. Just predicted the next most likely word in a loop until a solution to cancer was extruded

It's "becoming the default way people discover information online" because a monopoly is making it the default way. This is such weird framing. It's like if Coke changed its formula and the framing was like, this underlines how quickly artificial flavours are becoming the default flavours.

Google’s AI Overviews now appear in 43% of searches, underscoring how quickly AI-generated answers are becoming the default way people discover information online.

Its difficult to put my my anger over this into words. The modern Backrooms was born from the collective effort of thousands. That collaboration, all that passion/time was freely given because it made people happy. Now its being monetized. Its exactly like Ai and the internet.
