Isekai as a genre is exploding in popularity because it appeals to a universal desire to get hit by a truck rather than live in the 21st century.

People who wanted to be seen as good and progressive but were moral cowards. People scared to name the festering rot of religious conservatism eating away at the world, or the bloodsoaked patriarchal frenzy that rose in response to the most meager of gains. Everyone eager to declare history over.

The road to fascism was paved with "Reddit atheist" and "shrill feminist" and "blue hair and pronouns". The vanguard wasn't the rabid reactionaries. It was the "normals", "apoliticals", who tolerate occasional sexist comments but mock the "cringe" of well-meaning and earnest but awkward people.

Einerseits ist Taktisch Wählen eine sehr wichtige und richtige Aktion. Andererseits sind SPD und Grüne beides Parteien, die auch bloß Abschiebungen machen, aber mit Bauchweh und das ist laut ihnen besser als AfD. Rassismus mit grünem Anstrich bleibt Rassismus.

Mit der Kampagne "Taktisch Wählen" soll der Einzug der Grünen & der SPD in den Landtag gesichert werden. Wieso ist das wichtig? Weil ein Wegfall progressiver Stimmen durch die 5%-Hürde zur Folge hätte, dass die AfD dann mit schon deutlich weniger als 50% der eigentlichen Stimmen die Mehrheit hat.

Wie israelische Medien heute berichten, handelt es sich dabei um einen Fake– einfach eine Gruppe betrunkener israelischen Jugendlichen, die in Streit geraten ist. Laut lokalen Berichten begann sogar alles, als die Israelis Menschen auf der Strasse mit Flaschen beworfen. Kein Mob, kein Luftgewehr.

Anyway, your problem isn‘t finding the time to take notes. The problem is that taking notes is thinking and thinking has to be done by someone. women have been doing a lot of metacognition that looks like a task when it’s really thinking.

Then they have all the transcripts (and the ai token bill) but no sensemaking. so they make another app — a layer that will make sense of all the useless transcripts. But of course sensemaking isnt just pattern spotting. It’s interpretation. AI cannot do either because AI cannot be curious

So a masculinist understanding of notetaking would think a transcription app is the same as taking notes. That’s why they think an AI transcript is a time-saver. They think the notes are the thinking because when a human takes the notes, it is.

I like this notetaking example. it is a good case of how gender works. Notetaking has never been about producing a transcript. It is a bureaucratic skill in the 20th c. organixarion because it is SENSEMAKING. Those women socialized to take notes? They have been doing men’s metacognition for them

Notetaking in meetings is tiny case in point - used to be some predictable social assumptions who would do it; now anyone can offer to do ”notetaking” by turning on the AI listener. Further interesting scenario is human recollection / notes (taken by habit by a person) conflict with AI summary
