Husband, father, progressive Minnesotan with his head in the clouds, trying to build a museum to reach the sky. I like dogs. I like travel.

the entire Chinese internet has embraced what's basically a work of outsider art; a terribly animated film about a cow's dream made by a mother-son team and distributed by a former interior decoration company. It's now made millions at the box office.

Niu Lai (lit. Cow Come) was released without a press kit. Movie theaters in China have begun making their own posters. Surprisingly, not an AI in sight, just ppl living in the mement.

“Russia was able to influence our election because they figured out that racism, sexism, anti-Semitism, homophobia, and transphobia are America’s Achilles heel. These issues aren’t only civil rights — they’re also a matter of national security. We have to deal with that.” -Kamala Harris, 2/5/2019

Peggy Flanagan: "Republicans are going to run against every Democrat on fraud, because they want to distract from what's happening under the most corrupt president we've ever seen ... Michele Tayofa and Republicans up and down the ballot are going to have to answer for that. The grift has to stop."

I want everyone to stop for a second. Imagine what the Republicans and the news media would be like RIGHT NOW if Capitol One had closed President Biden's accounts because of a pattern of money laundering. Trump = hardly a peep. www.reuters.com/legal/govern...

Capital One says it closed Trump Organization's accounts after anti-money laundering probe

The disclosure marks the first time a bank has formally tied money laundering concerns to the president's family business.

To be clear: he's talking about tax revenue. Seldom framed this way on cable news, but he's talking about higher taxes on American businesses and consumers generating obvious revenue for the federal government. Every tariff is a tax hike on Americans. Donald is a tax and spend fascist.

KILMEADE: Are you worried the tariffs you put forward over the last couple days will hurt the economy? TRUMP: No, because it's bringing in hundreds of billions of dollars

More Americans have been killed in the Iran war Trump started than in the Afghan withdrawal Biden was handed and completed. The implications for America’s geopolitical situation is much worse with attacking Iran than leaving Afghanistan. But going by tone of coverage, one would think the opposite.

It’s been a hard and yet triumphant year for Minnesota. Ordinary people have been targeted by their fellow countrymen, and made heroic sacrifices for their neighbors. So, appropriate to remember that 163 years ago today, 262 average Minnesotans sacrificed themselves at the Battle of Gettysburg.

Court can't go on like this. The Constitution as plainly as possible says people who were born here have an unequivocal right to citizenship. Four people whose ONLY job is to read the Constitution for the rest of their lives just tried to overturn it because they're tired of brown people. Pack it.

Obama shouts out "those ordinary people in the Twin Cities who braved frigid temperatures, risked their own safety, standing shoulder to shoulder to look our for their neighbors and sometimes for strangers because they knew that was the right thing to do"

If the president throws a tantrum when he's pressed about his lies about election fraud and walks away from the interview, your response should be to remind your viewers of all the ways in which those lies were dismissed by the courts. Not promise to give him a do over after he's had nap time.

And then she ends by saying she spoke to Trump and set up ANOTHER INTERVIEW. This is why I’ve lost all respect for the cringing complicit corporate media. Spineless. Pathetic.
