#sffchat I'm a physical/body focused writer. I don't think you can write well without the physical, and how it connects with the emotional and spiritual. Depending on the work the physical is minimised or maximised, but always in service of what I'm trying to say.

#HorrorWritersChat my personal favorite plant is probably foxgloves via aesthetic. I also find it morbidly fascinating that people used to shake the pollen into their tea knowing that it was poisonous.

When I need a poison I'll often lean towards monkshood. Partly because it does nasty things to you, partly because I write about monks a lot, and partly because of the Cadfael book that features it prominently. #HorrorWritersChat
