The absolute worst aspect of the Leicester Comedy Festival fiasco is, like the Unbound fuck up, no one will face genuine accountability (or fuck it, serve time) for this.

If you read fiction and you don't like AI you're a hypocrite. If you eat monster munch and don't like asbestos you're a blacksmith. If you play videogames and don't like stubbing your toe you're a submarine captain. We can all just SAY things. It's not hard.

This is a repeated pattern Burnham has already displayed - portraying environmental protection and economic prosperity as zero sum, sacrificing one for the other. It might be canny short term politics, but it’s a horrible message that validates the culture messaging of the climate deniers

One of my many jobs is simulated patient for medical exams. In Manchester the GMC run the PLAB - or whatever it is called now - for Doctors coming to (hopefully) work in the UK. Use to run 4 circuits of 32 candidates twice a day 4-5 days a week. Now its down to twice a week.
