Residents said they’ve been caught flat-footed by these decisions because they were never consulted by the UCP. Danielle Smith and the UCP aren't listening to Albertans, so we are.
It's astounding....

The closure of consumption sites in ON contributes to these spikes. Using in a safe environment reduces risk (people can go low and slow) and many overdoses are managed without a trip to the ER. Closures in Red Deer AB led to spikes in ambulance calls. Politicians don’t seem to care.

There should be plenty of Taber corn available this year, as more and more separatists boycott it over the unfairness of billboard ads. #SayNoToTheNine
When has Smith ever respected results she didn’t like? Checks notes. Oh. Never. So ya. This is our first warning that she’s going ahead regardless.
In Red Deer... Danielle Smith had a hard time convincing members that the Duty to Consult is real. But she did commit to holding a binding referendum on separatism in May or April of 2027 if the separatist question gets support. #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli
It follows a US model. I grew up in Germany. They have a two year system but it’s vastly different, very expensive and health outcomes are not as good as they should be.

See what i’m saying? I wish there was a way to make disgruntled Albertans understand they’re barking at the wrong tree.
One pipeline system made Enbridge $1.57 billion in profit in a single quarter—that’s after paying wages, taxes, and donating to charities. But let’s blame immigrants for “taking advantage” of Albertans’ generosity.
I had an idea years ago of creating a (paid) labour reporting internship to help students gain experience doing labour reporting Emma was our first labour intern and I was so proud we could later hire her as full-time labour reporter Please follow @emmaarkell.bsky.social and support her journalism

Oh yes; & especially when you criticize the state of Israel; why are you not spending your time criticizing Russia, China etc. It's designed to shut you up. But actually we're each entitled to concentrate on what we believe to be the most egregious, or even the issue we believe to be most tractable.
99% of the time, when someone accuses you of selective outrage, it’s a way of politically demobilizing you and shutting you up “Why are you angry about data centers instead of fast fashion” isn’t about making you care about fast fashion. It’s about shutting you up about data centers And visa versa
As Alberta’s only MP fighting to defend public health care, I will not stay silent while governments open the door to a two-tier system where your bank account determines how quickly you get care. What starts in Alberta will not stay in Alberta. Medicare is a promise to every Canadian. (2/2)
Danielle Smith’s Bill 11 is the biggest attack on public health care in Canadian history, and Mark Carney is letting her. He and his Health Minister are refusing to enforce the Canada Health Act. (1/2) youtu.be/09BufyB0vWw?...

How substances are regulated if not based on the harm they cause, as evidenced by cancer, causing alcohol. Many of the substances currently considered illegal would be less harmful than alcohol, if they were available in a known and low concentration, rather than on the unregulated street market.
As global momentum builds for alcohol cancer warnings, Canada's label bill stalls. zurl.co/PKnBi
We deserve a government that will fight for access to healthcare for all Albertans!
Danielle Smith's newest health care announcement will only drive wait times higher and force more people to live in pain and suffering while they wait for the care they need.
