This is another example of Hegseth and Republicans trying to push non-whites out of the military. ~60% of black soldiers have shaving profiles. Also this isn’t WWI. A super tight fitting gas mask isn’t a basic need for a soldier. Pure tradition + racism.

Place teaching newly blind folks how to be blind is immediately adjacent to my apartment complex. Also great transit access. So lots blind folks living here. Multiple times a day I pass people or groups learning to cane. Recently seeing lots using ‘perv glasses’ and maybe there is a case for them.
I'll say this again, transportation safety orgs like @streetsalliance.bsky.social should be involved in the police chief search because traffic safety is consistently the number one public safety issue in Seattle.

I realize I’m an outsider when it comes to Seattle politics and that it is a gross simplification but it really does seem that there are two sets of rules when it comes to our politicians. One set for those who hire Tim Ceis and and another for everyone else.

In general, having a strong opinion of Will Stancil unless you went to high school with him or are related or something is probably a sign that you should spend less time in discourse.
Probably overthinking this but outside of a first couple times ‘so that was a cool experience’ generally speaking at least one participant is going to have to be strapped to a bulkhead to have pleasurable sex in a zero G environment right? Not that there is anything wrong with that.

The anger at Democrats for their fecklessness while Trump and Republicans systematically destroy the country is understandable, but it’s worth remembering that in the brief time they had a narrow majority over the past few years, they actually got a whole lot of important stuff done!

I am becoming more convinced that NIMBYism is fundamentally a conspiracy theory.

"NIMBYism is not an effective strategy politically."

WA had a similar situation from 2012-2017. All traitor Dems were eventually primaried except for one that got appointed Sec State to get him out of the way.
