It's buried in the article but, just like with the iceburg lettuce, it was the *company* that identified itself as the source, not the FDA. The illnesses from these eggs date back to *last year* but the FDA only acted yesterday.

These "people" act like defunding the police is a new ask that sprung out of nowhere. Like we haven't been trying to reform the police since 1968. We've had countless rounds of training, oversight, and body cams that have only ended with more Americans shot dead in the street. It's absurd.
