Wrapping up a pretty great week in North Carolina. Asheville area still recovering but also very ready for tourists. No @deesnider.bsky.social sightings tho.

I will always be more interested in #originalmusic but the great thing about seeing a solid cover band is seeing people (predictably or surprisingly) go apesh*t over a song. The crowd at this all ages community “block party” lost it over a Green Day song.

I reject the notion that we aren’t as tough as previous generations. I literally just used a bayonet to open an Amazon package.
