Video editor and gadget nut. Married to PuyoMatte (and still annoying her) He/Him 18+

"I wish more people knew about giallo as a genre" I say. The monkey's paw curls and now everybody name checks it as justification for plotless violence in bisexual lighting. Any resemblance to actual Italian murder mysteries from the 70s and 80s is incidental.

Algorithm update. Bunch of people have been doing this exact kind of thing to get around TikTok censorship and it’s wild. Feels like an analogue horror series

My three type of posts on social media seem to be complaining about some type of malady, getting roped into some minor bickering, or replying to a photo of fat nuts with "damn bro, those are some fat nuts, good for you!"

For anyone wondering what my last post was about, I was quoting Joseph Fink's take (as screenshotted here) and got blocked by him instantly. So hey, here's some context and more people with their own reasons why Fink's take is a very very silly one!

I love Night Vale. But this is such a ridiculous take. Joseph. You known ominous fog in horror with hints of sapience... didn't debut with you, right? Is John Carpenter chopped liver to you?To say nothing of titles that play on a theme of "Welcome to X?" Good Lord.

What an odd complaint. Yes, two works doing pastiches of horror tropes which are older than either of them are going to have a bit of overlap, but the tone, setting and plot thus far are quite different. "Mysterious killer fog" and "evil hag" are basically the starter Pokemon of New England horror!
