I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

REP. HIMES: “The video was enormously disturbing… the example given in the DOD manual is of shipwrecked sailors. You do not kill them.”
Rep. Don Bacon: "We saw that WSJ article yesterday that many people around the president are hoping to make billions of dollars—these are all billionaires in their own right—from an agreement from Russia, if they get a favorable agreement with Ukraine. That alarms me tremendously."
We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community. The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution. Don’t give up the ship.
1. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene responds to President Trump’s announcement that he is revoking his endorsement of her. MTG includes two text screenshots she says she sent to President Trump today regarding the Epstein matter.
In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.
And there it is. They don’t want to release the dismal inflation or jobs numbers for October and are claiming that it’s the fault of Democrats.
Thomas Massie to CNN on the Epstein files: "This vote is gonna be on your record for longer than Trump is gonna be president. And what are you gonna do in 2028 and 2030 when you're in a debate … and they say, 'How can we trust you? You covered up for a pedophile back in 2025.'"
Mike Johnson is really committed to covering up for Trump and Epstein
It begins. Clearly incriminating evidence against president of the United States. Epstein to Maxwell, April 2, 2011: "i want you to realize that that dog that hasn't barked is trump. [VICTIM] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned. police chief. etc."
Michael Wolff suggests in an email (in 2015) that if Trump were to say in public that he had never been to Epstein’s house or on his plane, Epstein would have leverage over him. Which…means that Trump was at his house and on his plane and that Epstein had the receipts to prove it. So.
NEW: President Trump's pardon of his alleged 2020 co-conspirators was less about shielding them from past crimes, his adversaries say, than about signaling to others that he has their back if he needs them again in 2026 or 2028. w/ @joshgerstein.bsky.social www.politico.com/news/2025/11...
The President wouldn't last five minutes as an air traffic controller, and after everything they've been through - and the way this administration has treated them from Day One - he has no business shitting on them now.
I got back to my office after the vote last night and recorded this. There's no way to sugarcoat what happened. And my fear is that Trump gets stronger, not weaker, because of this acquiescence. I'm angry - like you. But I choose to keep fighting.
Trump and Hegseth booed mercilessly for 2 minutes straight tonight by Washington Commanders fans.
BREAKING: Trump falsely claims the U.S. is “taking trillions” from tariffs and promises a $2,000 dividend “for everyone.”
TAPPER: Do you have any numerical idea of how many Americans will not be able to be with their families for Thanksgiving because of this? DUFFY: I think the number is going to be substantial
Last night, the Trump Administration sent a letter suggesting Wisconsin should return our FoodShare payments. My response ⬇️
Astonishing how hard this administration is working to keep people hungry. It's clear they are trying maximize public suffering, in hopes of getting people to blame Dems for that suffering. But it's transparently the White House working overtime to keep the suffering going! bsky.app/profile/cram...
Yikes. USDA sent threatening letter to states telling them that if they sent out EBT money —which many states did during the window when a lower court said SNAP funds had to be released—they have to take it back (?) Trying to sort out what this means and if states even can claw back the funds
This is genuinely disconcerting. The level of editing is ESPECIALLY disconcerting. There are so many cuts trying to fake continuity. Imagine what they left on the cutting room floor
Bluesky has a 3-minute limit but here's most of Trump's new video telling Republicans to end the filibuster. "It was their idea originally, Obama and Harry Reid, in order to screw the Republicans, and now we can turn it around and we can screw the Democrats and make our country so strong."
Watch my supercut of things Mike Johnson doesn’t know. You can see the whole show here: www.youtube.com/live/Ams4OLn...
Trump is holding a Great Gatsby/Roaring 20s-themed party at his private club in Palm Beach tonight as he tries to withhold SNAP and health care subsidies from millions of Americans. (via Kellie Meyer)
The Trump administration’s lawlessness cannot be ignored. Period.
Seems like the shutdown is getting to him. Here goes another Trump Tantrum
I will not back down. Trump is now calling for the arrest of elected representatives checking his power. What else is left on the path to full-blown authoritarianism?
