This is going to be the norm soon with the Internet littered with fake content. I've already caught fake 'quotes' from my books. Fake summaries. And yes, I saw a similar list online that had me releasing a fake book this year.

When I'm reading a book on Kindle and the "Popular Highlights" feature shows that a ton of readers highlighted some inane aphorism it actually makes me think less of the book.
The reason I went back to making Balatro 3 months after I essentially gave it up in March 2022 was because I was bored but the internet was out so I couldn't play Rocket League
genAI NPCS are shit for many reasons but also: NPCs with one or two lines of dialog clearly communicate to the player that this character cannot help you progress. We don't just choose not to include thousands of lines for NPCs because we're lazy or lack resources. It's bad design.

the web is cooked. I was reading a book that I wanted to find a summary of. Several top search results were for websites that had full “summaries” that were 75% AI hallucination and contained no more actual info about the book than you could gain by reading the dust jacket.

YouTube added this AI feature on the creator dashboard called "Inspiration" where it looks at your channel content and suggests video ideas for you. I think it needs a little work.
My kiddo (7) saw some clips of the game Spore on the internet and he insisted that I get it, so now I’m spending my Saturday playing this weird, flawed monsterpiece of video game from 2008.
Weird how long it took us to cover something by @sokpop.co but this was the perfect place to start.

My big project for 2025 is that I’m going to finally solve the famous “Jack the Ripper” murders. I’ll start by travelling to London to interview the surviving witnesses, then go to the crime scenes to dust for prints.
