Absolutely hate how searching for stuff these days is like just doubting whether something is just lazily AI-generated and bullshit or just on a vibe coded website which doesn't really inspire confidence but like, idk, maybe the info is not AI slop, but hard to say really!

I truly feel for kids growing up now who will have to unlearn using AI, but if you've been writing for more than 2 years it is the easiest thing in the world to just Keep Doing The Thing You Did and ignore AI tools!! It makes me feel crazy that people act like this isn't the case!!!

it's actually sad as hell to use AI for research when research is the fun part. you can just email people and call them on the phone and ask them questions about the thing that they have expertise in. you can read documents & learn cool shit. ok now i'm just talking about how being a reporter is fun

as it turns out, putting blood, sweat, tears into surviving to 24 and writing a book during your hardest year is worth it. thank you @lostincult.co.uk 💜 i definitely haven't processed this being my reality yet, but they're right there nonetheless. on my shelf. my book. that i wrote.

Seeing every small business, be it a local restaurant, a moving company, whatever, all having AI logos and AI ads, really puts into perspective just how many artists are out of jobs now. All those little sustaining jobs where someone just needed a quick thing for $50 to $200 are just gone.
