Haven't been doing much multi-material 3D printing even though I've had the multi-toolhead printer for almost a couple of months now. So I figured I'd use some of the silver filament I have left over and make myself a little friend for my desk.

Waymo is in San Diego (but only giving rides to employees right now I guess) and these vehicles are batshit crazy with their FULL and COMPLETE stops at stop signs which I'm pretty sure is illegal here.

Our setup of two solid wood tabletops (connected with industrial Velcro) resting on IKEA ALEX drawer units on the outside and the server/network rack on the inside has served (ha!) us well for several years, but getting ready to transition to a motorized desk frame on my side first...

Homophobic bird said "fuck you f**got!" and shat on me while we were walking home from the gym. But it missed my bare chest and legs, landing fully on my polyester/nylon shorts. And I had cleaning wipes with me to easily get it all off, so HA, HA, LOVE WINS, shitbird! 😁💩🐦‍⬛🏳️‍🌈

It's Pride Weekend in San Diego, so after I get back from my lunchtime haircut today... I will not be wearing pants or leaving home for the next two days. Happy Pride! 😁🏳️‍🌈

The intimacy the medium engenders and the imagination it requires are voided by the addition of video. The podcast becomes a talk show. The things you have to do when working with audio only all go out the window. Something significant is lost, I think!

I’m genuinely happy for some podcasters I know who are able to reach new audiences with the shift to video, but I’m going to stick with audio only. For the kinds of stories I want to tell in podcast form, audio is the only thing that makes sense to me.
