Fauci did the best he could in a truly difficult situation with complete hogs and bozos around him touting lies, grifts, selfishness and stupidity while thousands died, and to get treated like this by these gremlins is such an insult. It's more than an insult, man I can't even put words to it

Excited to share this last bit of my dissertation (slash turned first year of my postdoc) comparing the electrophysiological and morphological development of somatostatin neurons across cortical regions!
Prolonged developmental programming of somatostatin neurons defines adolescent remodeling of the prelimbic, but not barrel, cortex https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.64898/2026.07.27.740945v1
We have a new preprint! By studying neuronal heterogeneity in CA3, we found a weird but powerful new feature in the hippocampal circuitry! 🧠 #neuroskyence 🧵.. Morse-Mora et al. | Hippocampal CA3 forms a two-layer network of molecularly distinct cell types in mice and humans doi.org/10.64898/202...

Super exciting new work from @j9kwapis.bsky.social lab! 🥳🥳 Congratulations Kwapis lab, and especially to Chad for leading this massive project!
Old mice fail to integrate a memory update into an existing hippocampal engram. https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.64898/2026.06.22.733721v1
Kash lab at UNC is hiring a new technician (our current two are off to grad school!!) posting will go live soon, email me CV and names of references if interested.
Kudos to @j9kwapis.bsky.social for organizing a great event for the Penn State CMIND retreat. I really appreciated the invitation and warm welcome! Honored to share work from our groups alongside speakers @stevemaren.bsky.social @rkcyuen.bsky.social. Great presentations from faculty and students 🧠🔬🧪
Happy to share with you that we have a new preprint up on @biorxivpreprint.bsky.social " Biased signaling at NTSR1 differentially regulates inhibitory synaptic transmission in the extended amygdala and suppressess motivated feeding in mice" www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

Super excited to (finally!) show our work on identifying cell types! Now in press www.nature.com/articles/s41.... We show how to identify cell types from ephys recordings *without* optotagging. This opens the study of not just individual cell types, but the interacting neural circuit during behavior

Delighted to share our discoveries about one of the brain's neurotransmitter systems: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6... Together with colleagues at the @alleninstitute.org, we have learned a lot about a tiny cluster of neurons in the brainstem locus coeruleus (LC) that releases norepinephrine (NE). 1

New preprint from the lab on synapse development in the nascent neocortical hierarchy! Using mice that label MAGUK proteins developed by Seth Grant we find key differences in the laminar maturation of association and sensory motor cortices, including delayed, cortex-wide maturation of L1 synapses.
My weekly update on NIH funding. This is for all projects. The breakdown for competing and non-competing awards will follow. 1/4
February 4, 2018 Phinally! The Eagles capture their first Lombardi Trophy, defeating the Patriots 41-33 in Super Bowl LII. MVP Nick Foles catches the "Philly Special" on a fourth-down goal line play before the half. Brandon Graham sacks Tom Brady, forcing a key fumble in the waning minutes.
The people who spent years defending and even lionizing Kyle Rittenhouse and Ashli Babbitt now want us to believe that an unarmed mother in her car and a disarmed nurse were domestic terrorists who deserved to be murdered by law enforcement.
