Look at this Nasty Little Rabbit! This bunny looks friendly and fun but it is actually the mastermind behind a coordinated attack on Beorn's carrots, known in history books as the battle of five rabbits. It was very nasty business. (for MtG: the Hobbit, AD: Colin Boyer.)

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

Really disheartened to see WIA promoting AI shit. I haven’t kept up with them for a bit, so maybe this has been going on for a while, but I thought of them really highly as an organization for their mission and the opportunities they offered :\

When utilized in literature review, LLMs consistently 1. fail to mention female authors in female-led literatures, 2. insist that men are more influential or more heavily cited when this is contradicted by objective citation counts, and 3. attribute women’s work to hallucinated male scholars.
