Everyone hates everybody because the streets are primarily designed around one mode; the car, but are used by five. ➡️ Pedestrians ➡️ Busses ➡️ Bikes ➡️ E-bikes (yes they are separate) ➡️ Cars These are all different modes, with different needs. Designing for only 1-2 is a recipe for friction.

Apparently, I only qualify for about $5,000 as a federal market-rate unforgivable loan per semester, but I just got my bill for my first full time schedule at UIC and its over $8,300 (plus books) so unless I get a scholarship to cover the rest of this, I will be going back to one class at a time...
