I think a lot of why people don't get as mad at D&D as I do is that it has left such a mark on medieval fantasy fiction as a whole that a lot of peculiar D&Disms that are both unrealistic and poor game design now have people unironically thinking they're just how medieval combat worked
This is great to see. Hopefully all these platforms start to listening to their users instead of forcing things down our throats and telling us we want something. They did a lot of damage to their credibility but at least they are making changes.
The repeat outages of multiple major sites/services/platforms/providers this week has my hair standing on end... like the warning before lightning strikes. Spectrum on Tuesday, Azure several times, the Cloudflare pipeline issues, EVERYTHING this morning... Feels like some sort of canary.
