In the space of around ten years UK politics and media (all of it) have switched their language to normalise bigotry. They have switched from “Trans Women Are Women” (or just trans women) to “Trans Women - males who identify as women” at every opportunity, even when totally unnecessary for the point

Misgendern heißt, jemanden mit dem falschen Geschlecht anzusprechen – also eine Transfrau als "Mann" zu bezeichnen oder männliche Pronomen zu verwenden. Deadnaming heißt, den alten, abgelegten Namen einer Transperson zu verwenden. Beides kann gezielt zur Herabwürdigung eingesetzt werden.
