If blood & sweat leads designer A to something that is measurably better, why would designer B not _start_ by copying it? Instead, we get this anxiety about visual repetition and dullness, and forced variety.

Or they can put the 'battle for the soul of the party' off for a while and do what they can to help their party win."
it's funny how americans don't like subsidized groceries like this because that is big scary socialism, but turn around and clamor for businesses to provide them free parking... when the cost of that parking is being subsidized by everyone, including non drivers, as they'll just rise prices
