At least 600 clergy came to MPLS in the freezing temps, dropping everything from their overwhelming jobs including like 100 rabbis to be there in solidarity. The Bible commands us to care for im/migrants at least 36 times, more than any other commandment. "Thou shalt not murder" is also a thing.

The old constitutional order is gone, and we should be straightforward about that. It’s obvious that, whatever else is on the reconstruction agenda, ICE abolition must be included. For goodness’ sake, Bill Kristol is in favor of it. Can you really not get there? trib.al/I2YUL7P
Anyway, the mere existence of ICE (and of borders) is a human rights violation. People are meant to move around the world freely, and any restriction of that movement is immoral.

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.
I wish more people would enforce a boundary in response to anti-social behavior.
