I mean, you're not wrong. As an addict (especially to non-substances since it's hard to get those taken seriously in recovery communities, unless it's gambling), it fucking SUCKS to be demonized for your problem instead of supported.

Well, that's the thing about dopamine and people. Everyone gets it from different things, depending. And this tech is addictive by nature. Will it be that way for everyone? No. But it's definitely designed to be and I think it's wise not to assume anyone is immune. Sort of like cults and propaganda.

"Boycotts never achieve anything" factoid is actually a statistical error. Boycotts are an enormously successful pressure mechanism for collective action. Boycotts georg who launches a million boycotts every day with no thought given to target selection is an outlier adn should not have been counted
any response to transphobia that falls short of open hostility is support, as has been the case in the defense of the most politically vulnerable population at any other point in history. politeless and decorum are dark alleys where disenfranchised people are hurt and killed out of your sight
