Trump’s threats to NATO are both empty & real. Empty bc he’s been doing this for years (& threats to annex Greenland are a graver danger than anything he says now in relation to Iran). Real because there’s nothing more palpable than his disdain for Europe and what it represents

Four years have passed since Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine. Russia was supposed to win in three days. Instead, Ukraine reinvented modern warfare, built a drone industry, and can destroy a thousand Russian soldiers in a day. Ukraine can win.
The last time Europe went to bed at peace was four years ago tonight.
