Nerd, artist, absolute homosexual. High femme, low stress. Books, baking, and Babylon 5. Milf-obsessed, dissociating weirdo.

bought some National Trust scented candles from a gift shop the other day because they were on sale and maaaan they 'aint shit, as the kids say, my £1 a pop candles from IKEA are way better 🤷

it’s one of those days when I am thinking longingly of retirement, not because it has been particularly stressful or anyone has yelled at me (yet) but because I am just SO exhausted 😩 😭😴

a remarkably effective life hack: just be nice to people it's incredible how much goodwill people will extend to you if you're pleasant to them

People here recoil from AI because it doesn't look like the future. The observable uses for it include: - Scams - Homogenously hideous zero-effort advertising - Making non-consensual porn out of real people's photos - Insanely inflated market capitalization

The wild thing about this is that, at root, this is every opinion in the UK. Me, my friends and family are real people and we should be treated with kindness and respect. Everyone else is a grifting fake taking money out of my pocket and using up resources that should be mine.

Absolutely peak British media this, "I the deserving, you the fucking pig people". Say what you like about Marie Antoinette, she at least thought the poor should have cake. Weapons grade amounts of self regard and misanthropy

Screen shot of Julie Burchill with the headline "I deserve every penny of my PIP – most people don’t" and the sub
"Julie Burchill: I spend my PIP on the expensive business of being disabled".

In Star Trek people often complain that replicated food is not as good as naturally produced food, which is weird when replicators are presumably using the same technology as transporters, which can perfectly replicate Spock every time. But is Spock getting less flavoursome over time? In this essay,

Them, trying to hand me my cheque at the end of the year: ‘But…you won? We’re here to make you rich. You can leave now.’ Me, clinging onto my precious hardwood fence on my farm in Stardew Valley, tears streaming down my face as my chickens look on: ‘No!! Nooooo!!!’

You're offered $250,000,000 but to claim it you must enter the last video game you've played and stay there for a full year. How are y'all faring in this deal?
