Disney has now shelved three episodes featuring storylines centered on transgender characters and gender identity. The episodes, from ‘Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur,’ ‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,’ and ‘Win or Lose,’ were either cut from release or have since leaked online.

More reasons to include alt text: + Trouble reading certain fonts + Limited image resolution blurring tiny details + It's searchable, so you (or others) can find the image again more easily in the future! Here's a guide to writing alt text, which you can find by searching "alt text capybara"

Seeing a lot of folks migrating from Twitter posting images without ALT text, so a reminder! Try to use ALT text! It helps folks who are blind or vision-impaired know the context of your images. Ex: If you post, "look at this cool thing!" they won't know what your image is about, bc no ALT text!

How does alt text provide context for humans? Low and/or impaired vision Alt text can help people with low or impaired vision and different learning abilities interact with the content on your site. Use of screen readers Alt attributes enable screen readers to read the information about on-page images. Image load issues Alt text can provide context when images are unable to load due to connectivity issues or device settings.
