I'm pretty good with words. I know my there, they're and their, the difference between effect and affect, when to use it's and its, who's and whose, but I still haven't a clue when it comes to "whom."

A major milestone happened to me today that happens to most men of a certain age: my belt snapped. It served me well for at least 25 years but I’ve just expanded too much and the poor thing could only hold out so long. Walking home from work is going to be fraught. Please stay up, jeans! 😱

Thing is, I'm an incredibly fundamentally lazy person (and artist). But I cannot think of anything that I'd get an AI tool to do that I wouldn't much rather do myself. All my art & design skills, I've built up over decades. I enjoy creating things. Why would I want to delegate that to clankers?

My answer is LOL ROFL (dickbrain) The terminally AI-pilled can't even *imagine* some people have *never* asked stochastic parrots to cheat at their job for them.

All the people who are anti-Al or want to
slow Al progress, I have one question:
If Al disappeared tomorrow, could you
still get through an entire workday
without ChatGPT, Claude, or any other
 Al tool?

Imagine Al was suddenly banned.
Would you actually be willing to give it
 up?

"What would you do if AI suddenly disappeared?" The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world! Or just live my life as I normally do because I don't outsource my cognitive abilities to autocomplete with delusions of grandeur.

I’ve always been a slow reader as it just takes me longer to process text. (I feel like I’m missing out information if I don’t read every word). So it’s taken me about 2 weeks to read #ProjectHailMary. Best book I’ve read in years. Fantastic ending, totally unexpected. I was almost in tears. Amaze.

We go on holiday in a couple of weeks and our finances are currently sub-optimal so I’m opening up ten Silly Little Guy slots. Usual rules apply: ⭐️ No portraits ⭐️ £30 each (via PayPal) ⭐️ Just simple silly guys My DMs are open! As ever, any and all shares are appreciated x

Sixteen assorted avi doodles or things ranging from a frog riding a slug to a koala levitating on its own farts, via a happy taco and a dog eating a slice of pizza

Watched Belleville Rendez-Vous for the first time in years, maybe decades. I'd forgotten just how incredibly funny it is, gently (and not-so-gently) poking fun at pretty much every French national stereotype as well as Wallace & Gromit does for British stereotypes. I love the stretched 2CVs.

I haven’t dated in a long time and hopefully never will again, but the Instagram algorithm feeds me a lot of videos of people telling horror stories of dating. The terminology makes it all sound like an alien planet and the phrase “shooting your shot” sounds like… something it’s not. 😖

Weird insecure manosphere types take testosterone in the hopes of becoming extra manly for some ill-defined reason. I take testosterone because I’m old, I had mumps when I was a kid and I don’t want my bones to break.

Maybe instead of performing outrage that someone retweeted a photo of someone else’s t-shirt showing a guillotine and a message saying “we’re making plans for Nigel”, rightwingers might perhaps think about why someone would wear such a garment in the first place?

I have a sad addiction to buying graphic T-shirts and I was on the official DC shop, looking for a Superman logo. Also found this gorgeous gem from my favourite Batman film. I love a bit of silliness with the Caped Crusader.

I’ve not seen the film of Project Hail Mary yet, but I’m currently reading the book (excellent by the way). Speaking as a frequent potty-mouth (at least in private), I find Ryland’s exclamations of “gosh darn it” etc quite adorable. 🙂
