Why do they call it the Xbox Series X? Because after a Series of Xtreme decisions by Microsoft it is no longer a viable product

@ultrabrilliant.xyz For your next cool physical product please can you make some nice keycaps inspired by the Nostromo that also have regular lettering for #Business use, cheers
Been playing AC: Odyssey since The Odyssey made Ancient Greece my Roman Empire and it’s actually really good. It’s more like The Witcher: Greece than an “Assassin’s” game and that suits me nicely after burning out on all that.
Seeing clips of people from the US shouting and screaming at film scenes in theatres makes me so incredibly thankful they largely stick to their own tarmac.
We have literally just gone on image flip and made like 7 of these because we A) need money B) want you to have 1200 fonts for commercial use for just $19 ci.itch.io/all-fonts-pack
Couldn’t have happened to a worse bunch of spiteful bastards. No wonder their fans are empowered to be horrible pricks when the “professionals” act like that.
Disallow that you racist, corrupt genocide-supporting rats
Association football “half time show” brought to you by people who line up to be served at bars
I've been saying this for a while now: if you can imagine yourself needing any computer components any time in the next few years, buy them NOW. Right now might be the worst time in the past decade to be buying computer hardware but it's the best time in the next 5 years.

England will never win an international trophy until we put a stop to performative pint-throwing
I think it’s probably really bad that people started referring to speaking to others as “Chat“ - as in stream chat - but now people are using it for “ChatGPT”
At some point, and I think it’ll be very soon, we reach a critical point where increasing every single rental in the UK by £25-£100 per year ”because of ‘The Market’” isn’t sustainable

Had the odd comment mentioning “sentimentality” in the Sony piece and listen: sentimentality is the point. Part of this is just about the fact we’re losing one of the final touchpoints of another world. It’s right to want to rage against that.
My parents were low income so I often just browsed game shops as a kid. Sometimes mum let me get a game. It'd cost her whole day's wage and a chunk of our rent. Dad once told me to check under the car seat and Pokemon Red was there in a bag. Ownership isn't the only thing we lose with physical media
were up to me I probably wouldn't eliminate physical media for my forthcoming console right on the heels of delisting hundreds of digital movies from people's libraries and while on the cusp of a world historical digital storage supply squeeze, but I guess that's why they get paid the big bucks.
idk how you unfuck the economics of game dev, but big studios constantly going "we just can't afford all these developers who we pay like 60% the market rate for engineering roles w/ comparable experience at comparable non-game-dev companies" doesn't reflect well on studio execs' basic competence
A lot of people don't realise this but in the UK we have to replace our Prime Minister every two or three years or else the rights revert back to Marvel
They should never have been allowed to acquire so much. Embracer 2.0.
