Others have said it previously, but I love how this promotional image from the 1990 Stephen King's IT looks like a prestige drama courtroom show, that just so also happens to involve a clown.

The cast of Tommy Lee Wallace's IT miniseries (1990)

Found in a sidewalk giveaway pile, an incredible case of staple multi-generational Dudes Rock cassettes; a musical taste profile of a certain type of 1990s white guy frozen in time

A case of audio cassettes, presumably one person’s collection, with artists such as Pink Floyd, Pantera, Beck, Bruce Springsteen, Jane’s Addiction, Bob Marley, The Doors, Jeff Beck, Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Primus, Rush, Black Sabbath, Meat Loaf, The Offspring, and of course, The Beavis & Butt-head Experience.

There is a distinct overlap with this and the people who end up going crazy because AI tells them they're a genius. Like at a fundamental level there is a yearning a lot of people have to be want to be exalted and special, and tbh I think a lot of that is probably related to capitalist alienation.

The people that use gen-AI and scream about “gatekeeping” don’t really want to make art. They want to be praised and to make money and want to skip the actual “art” process. They don’t JUST want a product, they want everyone to tell them how gifted and special they are, too, for no work!

Best Person/Sewist at a wedding and so far I have fixed a trouser button, shortened shirt sleeves, and thrown a mayonnaise slathered sandwich at my shirt :^)
